About Me

Artistic statement: My hope is that, after viewing my work, people will leave with a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the sky. Clouds are nothing more than light, dust, and water vapor. They have no real existence in time, as they are constantly shifting--like life itself. My paintings are an attempt to capture this elusive wonder.

Biography: I was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, USA in 1952. After studying film at Temple University in Philadelphia, I lived for several years in a rural community in the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee. I moved to Moore County, North Carolina in 1977 where I ran a small advertising agency. In 2022, I moved to Lexington, Kentucky, where I now live.

I have two daughters and a grandson who live in Los Angeles, CA.
